Summer coming to an end

Hello! Just a quick update before I boost off with assignments! Having two due next Monday and I barely started!!

Having Easter Break next week! Can't wait! Probably need that week to catch up what I have been procrastinating in class and in the gym! Speaking of the gym, just sign up for a Health Club few weeks ago and today was my first session with the trainer. Almost died. No kidding. And this was literally only at level 1. :O

Diet plan is not going on as smooth as I expected. Been getting greedy lately, sleeping with bloated stomach. Godddd. The things you get when youre living under one roof with a masterchef!


Will definitely blog again from my holiday trips and hopefully no more delays!

Of roses and valentine !

Hello, I am currently at the state of busyness since there is massive assignment coming up my way. :( However, its early morning and I can't sleep so I thought why not do something productive? i.e. Blogging.

Good idea? Definitely. :) Gonna take my blog posts one step at a time. Theres so many things going on in life but I can only afford limited time to actually rearrange and resize all my photos before I actually blog. Yes, photos are necessary, I dislike making my blog all wordy. :x

So anyway, last month on 14th was  Valentine's day. Like every typical couples, it is the day we spend time together doing lovey dovey stuff. But I think I've sort of outgrown the fact that it's just a day like any other day. No big deal. :\

Won't like to talk much about Boyfie but shall put this post as an exception. :)

So on the day itself, he traveled to Miri from Sibu just to spend this special occasion with me. I had to pick him up early in the morning! But it was worth it as I never expected he made a lot of effort to actually make Valentine really meaningful for the both of us. :)

To come my surprise, he bought me roses. Purple and white, my favorite combination!



Nice to see that he understands whats my taste! xD Guess all that cock talking and day dreaming really did paid off! :x

Spend the rest of the day running errands with Mum and had the night for the both of us. Its actually our first time celebrating Valentine in Miri, the last two were in Sibu. We decided to go JD's Fine Food for a try since its a 'one year one time' thing so yeah, why not?



Food was not too bad but I really wished we would have spend it a day earlier or a day after just for the sake of the overly rated celebration of Valentine's day. Everything including flowers and dinners are at high price and some were not worth it. :\ But I shall not ruin the atmosphere and continue-

Typical and simple date night for the both of us. Happy people we are. :)

I'm grateful I can spend our Valentine together once again this year.

Public Relations?

Hello! Just a quick update before I head to class today. It's week 2 and I realize there is a pile of assignments coming up my way and I am no where prepared! D:

This semester I am taking the last of my Management unit and three other Public Relations major units. So it will be tougher than I thought since most of the units concentrates on assignment rather than final exams. Anyway, just gonna talk a little bit about Public Relations, which I believe not many people know what does Public Relations really means, what does this particular field actually works in the business industry.

Most of the people who asked me what major am I taking and I always say, "PR" and  the feedback to me is like.. "Ohhh, PR? Okay, that means you need to talk a lot right?"

Honestly, before I chose PR as my major, I had no idea what is it as well, in fact I didnt actually understand it until I took the first unit of PR back last year. Up to today, I am still trying to get to know how the PR world is like and slowly trying to understand how the power of words is able to affect and change perceptions of people along the way.

This video was shown in class in one of my PR units and it sort of moved me. 

Its amazing how words can be so powerful that it changes people's mindset and thinking right away!

PR is not mainly about communicating, it is more towards engaging relationships towards stakeholders and customers and also sending an important message to the public using the right tools and how you want the message to be delivered. For example, a prime minister's speech is written by a PR person. A roadshow event is organized by a PR person. A media release to the newspapers on a new product of a company is written by a PR person. That is sort of how PR works, from what I understand. :)

I found a few videos that actually gives a better explanation towards Public Relations and I hope it gives a clear mindset to you guys as well.

So yeah, that is technically what I'm currently studying at the moment. I'm looking for an internship on PR for the coming winter break, its actually for my final year unit next semester, hopefully I can get the internship soon! Starting to get a little worried. :(

Finally updating without further delays. Sigh, is it me or is the time here in Perth slows down? Everyone is so laid back making me feel so damn lazy. :( Cannot procrastinate! Healthy lifestyle, lets go! :P

So anyway, gonna blog about Yii's 21st surprise birthday which was way back in Feb, before Chinese New Year. xD Sorrrryyyy for delaying it over a month. Teehee!

It was suppose to be like a farewell karaoke session with the group but we secretly intend to pull a surprise for Vivian since she's going back to Brisbane during Chinese New Year. Thank god the surprise went well and she did not suspect a thing. :P

I brought liquid liner over for everyone to draw symbols on their face. xD Quite epic lor. Hahaha! I shall let the pictures do the talking from now. :P
