Perth: Cavernsham Wildlife Park, WA

Harro!

Was thinking long and hard on what to blog about this week,
then I realize I havent really blogged about
Perth much last year.

Call me hardworking or just bored,
I decided to dig out these old pictures from my hard drive
Back when Cynthia and Daniel came to visit

Time flies and who would expect
these photos were taken a year ago!

So anyway,
Imma blog about our short trip to

Basically the park is located at Swan Valley,
where tourists would normally go visit wineries and drink free wines!

Dan and Cyn visited last September and winter was almost over
so there wasnt really much to see at the winery.

We went straight to the wildlife park because
its a must to go visit kangaroos and koalas
when you're in Austrayyaaa!

It was an Open Space Park
so there's basically no cage whatsoever,
we can basically go in and feed the roos!

There were a lot of shows going on that day,
on our way we passed by where all the kangaroos were resting!
Cannot resist so we went to have a look first!

\

To our shock these kangaroos are very..
They seem careless of us humans and all they do is approach to you
cuz they know you would have food

Here's Daniel posing with the Albino Kangaroo

Here's another photo of him telling the kangaroos to stop asking for food
Stupid hahahah

Meet my two noob friends whom I know for more than 10 years,
Ah, those good for nothing 10 years  :P

Anyway,
we finally reach the place where
we get to see how a sheep haircut is done

They firstly had to get the sheep to get into the saddle
they had a pet dog thats responsible in getting them in
so cute though i dont have a picture of it
the sheeps were running at the opposite direction of where the dog barks
quite smart actually

So yea, let the sheeering begin!

Sheering complete and the sheep is bald hahahaha
and the wool you see there is used to make sweaters and blankets

Volunteers that are wondering what are they doing with these milk bottles

sho cuteeee! baby lambs are the cutest!

The amount of sheeeeppp

Cute baby lambs!

We also get to try milking a cow,
not really a big deal but we 3 three had our moment
lololol

*Commercial break

HAHAHAH!
FYI, Miley Cyrus's We can't stop just released
so that explains all the tongue situation xD

 Moving on,

Yes, Cynthia would go for any animal she's cray :p

Ahhh, it's that parrot from Farber Caster color pencils!

This owl reminded me of Harry Porter,
the eyes were just..

super fierce!!

And who doesn't know to Kookaburra bird?!
*plays Kookaburra song

The lady told us these birds were actually suppose to be sleeping during the day
and up at night hunting for prey,
but for these three they rescheduled their body clock
so we can take pictures of them :D

Awesome possum!

And of course, the signature group shoot
with the Wombat!

Next stop,
KOALAS!

We were lucky that day because the koalas
were awake and was feeding

Waa, best postcard picture thanks to me liao :P

The lady told us Koalas sleep for 20 hours
while the remaining 4 hours is for the feed and mate

WHAT?!

So good life one,
Can I be a koala in my next life?

Super lucky we get to take photos with them upclose,
the second time I went with my family
they were soundly asleep

Oh yes, and koalas are fed with Eucalyptus Leaves,
those that are made into Eucalyptus Oil

Apparently, these leaves are very moist,
so these koalas do not need to drink water
all they need to do is to eat these leaves
Waa such easy life they have !

Before we left, we went to say goodbye to the kangaroos!

Ending a picture of this epic expression
of this kangaroo:

"What, so you wanna take a selfie with me now?"

Yeap, so if you're planning to visit Perth
definitely a must go !
Especially if you love animals,
no harm getting to know these little guys ey?

Blog again soon!
Ta!
