It's the Jolly Olly Christmas! x 2013

I know I'm 4 days late but I'm still in the Christmas mode!

It's my second most favorite celebrations of the year,
(I love Chinese New Years and super excited its coming soon)

As you all might know,
my family came to visit for 2 weeks and we spend Christmas here in Perth together.

That is also part of the reason why I was MIA for so long!
I was so busy I didn't even have time to catch up on Instagram and Twitter!

I would say it.
Intensive Quality Time with the Family.

Besides,
I haven't met them for ages so you can't blame me for being so busy.

Now that their back home,
I kinda miss the house with them around making a lot of noise,
Mum forever busy in the kitchen making good food! *slurps

Cant wait to go home!!

Anyway,
back to the topic of Christmas,

In Perth,
or I presume most Western Countries to be the same,

people would spend Christmas at home getting together with family and friends,
gathering dinners and laughs together!

All shopping centers and shops are mostly close,
so the city is practically empty on Christmas Day.

If you understand how Chinese New Year is spent,
it's kinda the same thing how people spend Christmas here.

So we decided to hold a small gathering at home on Christmas Day,
together with the family, Vivien, Ys and Bryan!
Invited my Uncle's family as well

Busy preparing the food and deco all day!

Mum insist in buying Christmas Props to lighten up the mode,
so we turned on Michael Buble's Christmas Hits,

and work together setting up the living room

Mind us, without makeup and practically in home clothes xD

Prepared cupcakes and pavlova as desserts!

Brother helping out in the kitchen with his reindeer ears

And we're almost done with the turkey!

TADAA!!

It was almost evening and we were done setting up the dinner table,

Just look at the amount of foood!
It's lke we're trying to feed an army!
Can't believe this was all prepared from my little kitchen

Over the other side is our dessert table,

Christmas Egg Nog prepared from Bryan!
Tasted a little like Baileys, yum!

After dinner, we went outside to chill and played with sparkles!

Thus sums up my Christmas this year in Perth! :)

All photos were taken by Bryan and some from Alan's

Jo Jung Seuk is my new love ♥

Mind me,
I have been ignoring my blog again when I promised not to.
Been catching up with dramas lately it's crazy.

Just finish watching,
You're the Best, Lee Soon Shin!

staring,
Korea Nation's little Sister,

IU

and
Jo Jung Seuk

Who I instantly fall in love watching the drama!

I don't know why,

but he is very charming!

Especially in the drama,
his trying very hard to act cool

but fail hopelessly,

cracks me up all the time!

I don't know whether is it I'm getting a little too old with these innocent korean dramas,

Out of 50 episodes, there is only 2 kiss scenes
Shows spark but I dont think it's enough :\

I also watched
King 2 Hearts because of him

Omo~ He looks so good !

But honestly,
I would like to see him act in other dramas and movies
showing his dark side

Agreee??

Just look at those brows!

My ovaries are about to pop!

It's not everyday you see big eyed monolids that can work this look!

&&&

He sings as well!!

Hahaha, I really hope this fangirling mode wears off soon,

I feel creeping Wikipedia him and watch videos of him in Youtube,

Its like I'm cheating behind my boyfriend :P

Teehee!

Family is arriving in an hour!

Late night thoughts

It's late at night
but I've been doing a lot of thinking,

Still can't believe 2013 is going to end in less than a month,
which means I'll be turning 22 next year,
It's scary but exciting at the same time.

Mixed feelings.
Still unsure where I'll be next year.
Where my next destination will be,
or what is my first ever job would be like,
and how am I going to handle it

It's terrifying that I'm slowly stepping into
the life of Adulthood,
especially when I don't feel like I'm ready,
at all.

But I know
it's time to pull myself together
no matter where and what I'll end up with
I'm going to strive and put my out most effort to make it through!

Family is coming over next week,
for our annual family holiday!

Where should I take them?

Have been a tourist for several times since I've been here.
This should not be hard ey?

Sunny Summertime x Scarborough Beach

Boo, I am being as efficient as possible, praying hard I don't lose the mojo to blog again!

Since exams were FINALLYY over last week,
I was desperate, well actually, Vivien and I
are desperate to go out and spend our weekend wisely.

Seriously, I am so occupied with exams and assignments,
I hardly go down to the city nor do anything exciting.
In short, my life was..
DESPRESSING

So we kinda finally had the chance to go visit one of the beautiful beaches in Perth
Scarborough Beach

It's actually quite far from where we live,
drove about 20 mins to actually get there!

But it was worth it!
The sea view was AMAZING!

White sands and Turquoise waves,
I could get used to the life of this!

I wonder why people still wanna go Bali when the beaches here are so beautiful?

Anyway,
it was my first time actually going to the beach in a bathing suit and actually lay down for a tan.

Back home, there's no chance we get to do that,
unless you wanna end up getting blood shot stares

So, I googled and see what I was suppose to bring to the beach
 I know right haha

Took a towel, sunblocks, sun hat, sunnies
(dont judge, I am afraid of the sun)

bathing suit, earphones, gossip magazine

&&&

We're good to go!

Surprisingly,
I was not afraid of the sun,
I think the weather was just nice cuz the sun was not thaaat strong and there's a bit of wind too

It wasn't very packed and people were just lying on the sand,
minding their own business,
playing volley ball

NO AWKWARD STARES,
Me like!

Especially when I'm so insecure in my bathing suit :(

Also,
we went to take a dip into the sea,
maybe just minor dip, like playing the waves,
The water was so clear and chilly,
would be perfect to go for a swim after laying under the hot sun for some time

Okay, I shall go again next time :)

Happy Summer !

2K13 Feel Korea Concert

Hello Bello!

Did anyone realize it's December already? OMG How the hell that happen??

So how is everyone spending the last day of November?

I went to the 2K13 Feel Korea Concert last night with my friends last night.

Honestly, I think the ticket I bought was really worth it!

It only cost me 10 bucks and I had a chance to see K-Pop Stars which was fair enough really.

Though I wasn't a fan of the performers performing before,

I certainly am a fan now!

The performance started at 7pm but we went quite early to queue for the front view

Yeah, we were at the standing area all night!

It was actually my first time attending a real live celebrity concert,

What a way to break my concert virginity! Hahaha but I think its totally worth it :P

The highlight of the night was :

OnGals

They are mad funny and have awesome beat boxing skills!

Love how they imitate the Transformers robot and Justin Timberlake's Sexy Back.

They kinda remind me of the minions cuz they weren't speaking in proper language

HAHAHA!!

Whee Sung

He is well known for his Korean version of  Insonmia

HE HAD BACKUP DANCERS WEARING REALLY SHORT DANCING THEIR ASSES OFF

Oh lord, just look at the legs!

Some fan standing not far from us was like,
OPPPPAAAAA!! when he was talking xD

HAHAHAH!!

Alexander Lee

Previously from U-Kiss,

Alexander is half Korean, half Cantonese Portugese,

I know I know, sounds like its hard to swallow

but I Wikipedia this guy and apparently he speaks 7 language, OMG :O

His English is really fluent and he's really charming, he was the main announcer of the night too.

He sang a few songs and announced he was recently acting in a Singapore-Australian Movie,

3 Peas in a Pod

Sooo gonna watch it! He said the movie was shoot in Melbourne!

Ai Lee

Officially a big fan of Ai Lee after her performance last night!

She performed Beyonce's song and a few of her own and she totally killed the stage!

She has a powerful voice and perform live really well,

not to mention looking so flawless in real life too!!

MBLAQ

Probably what everyone have been waiting for the whole night!

Yeah, I was on fan girling mode jumping and screaming OMG

everytime I catch a glimpse of them singing

*melts

&&&

the closing with everyone on stage to say goodbye

they gave away plastic balls with signatures

I'm serious everyone gone a bit cray and squeeze right through -.-

THEY ALL HAVE REALLY GOOD HAIR GOING ON!

WHAI? WHAT LOGIC??

 So yeah,

that sums up my last day of November.

Totally enjoyed it ! :D

Not dead yet

Hello! *waves

Yes yes yes, I'm back and still alive! Sorry for the lonnnnggg MIA :(

Omg, it has been a while since I blogged. Can't believe the last blog post was back in August. *ashamed

Final semester was being a bitch and I simply did not have time sit down and blog.

I'm saying that because I was also busy catching up with dramas and partially lazy to update too. Teeheee!

Now if you have noticed, I changed my whole blog layout because I got bored with the previous one.

Yes, it's white and blank and boring but hey,

Everything goes well with white anyway. :P

Oh yes, since my habit of blogging has been (almost) dead,

I recently downloaded an app which works like a Instagram and Twitter,

except you get to blog about your daily life and stuff with more word characters :D

In case this blog goes dead again, feel free to follow me in Dayre

It's kinda addictive and convenient too

Though I still miss blogging too!

I'll try my best to keep this blog posted

since it's the summer holidays,

I shouldnt have anymore excuse not to right? :P

Shall blog again another day, when I have a topic to blog about that is. :D

What is Monolook?

I know I have been ignoring my blog a lot lately. :(

Winter break is finally over and I can't believe it's the end of study week 3 alrd!!

Time flies so fast it is getting scary! :( Can't believe it's my final semester before graduation and I absolutely have no idea what to do after that. Sighhh.

Anyway, I haven't been blogging since I was working on something big for the past few weeks. It was literally a random conversation I had with Vivien and we sorta made it turned real! I was quite excited to actually see it becoming something that we would never expect will actually achieve up to this point.
(not that we have achieve anything yet but it has been looking quite promising!)

Shall cut the crap and go straight to the point. Apparently we have been working on setting up an online blogshop that is based in Perth but we do shipped to other places within Australia.

Yes, if you have been wondering, that is the name of the blogshop. Why is call Monolook? What does it actually mean?

Well, we spend quite a while trying to come up with the right name for this blogshop. We wanted to sound different and stand out as well at the same time. Another thing was that the name of the blogshop has to be a reflection of us as well.

We had random words scribbled on sticky notes and tried putting two words together to see if they fit well.

So after brain storming, we finally come up with the word Mono. Mono is a term we thought of from the word, monolids which is also known as single eye lids. For you guys who are not sure, single eye lids which most asians have is where there is no crease on top of their eyelids, hence explains why we always look like we're half asleep. So anyway, since both of us are monolids, we decided to use the word 'mono'.

Mono from monotone explains colors of black and white which are the two essential neutrals to work on an outfit. This is where we thought of combining 'look' towards mono to add a bit of edge for the name of the blogshop.

The whole point is that Monolook aims to achieve a look that can be carried out to all girls, no matter what shape or size, single or double eye lids, it doesn't matter because style is what it takes to look good!

Quite impress of the name and I really hope that this blogshop can carry on :)

We recently had a launch and now most items are ready on sale in the Monolook's blog !

Take a look and if you're interested, place your order at monolook.online@gmail.com!!

Blog more soon! Boyfie is visiting so it's gonna be busy week ahead! :)
