Veet it off!!

Hello, I know I am suppose to be studying but I cant help to talk about how do I deal with HAIRY situations! :O Here is my story on how I was introduced to Veet:

Ever since I was 14 or so, you know how puberty strikes and sometimes you might end up getting the wrong 'strong' hormones. For me, well, instead of growing taller or grown bigger chest size, I had a serious issue with hair. Like seriously, I almost faint when I saw the first few baby hair on my underarm, but I get to know that is quite normal for well, almost everyone? BUT! What almost killed me is how hair started growing on my legs! OMG, I felt sooo embarrassed, especially when in high school, I can't help but think that my other classmates might notice and claimed that I'm a guy or some animal. (wtf,I was really paranoid back then)

And what made worst of those leg hairs was I tried to get rid of it. THE WRONG WAY. Instead of asking Mum for help, since I was damn embarrassed to expose my hairy issue to anyone back then, I stole Mum's eye brow shaver. Dafuuu. Why was I so stupid back then? Why?! Anyway you get the picture. Hello, hairy and sharpy legs. Shaving never helps, please dont shave! Once you shave, the shaver is going to follow you everywhere!!

Anyway, I grown up a little back then and got the courage to ask from friends on how to handle this issue, and I also started surfing the net for solutions. And so, I came across VEET! Veet was my loyal companion ever since high school, I tried on the hair removal cream and it work like magic! Heck, I even got addicted to it and kept using it cuz it makes our legs reaaally smooth!

Here is a video of the Veet's Hair Removal Cream that I have mentioned about:

Just recently, I took my hairy issue the next level. I was tired of shaving since it grows back like every 3 days, and so, I tried waxing. I bought the Veet EasyGrip Ready to Use Wax Strips from Watsons and gave it try. At first I was a bit scared la, cuz I kept hearing how waxing hurts and all but after using it, my legs are like immune to it and no longer feel painful! AND, the best part is, THE HAIR DOES NOT GROW AS FAST AS SHAVING!!!

I was really impressed on the results and kept on waxing my legs the other night. Here are some pictures of the process! :D

1. Take the wax strip out from the box
2. Rub the wax strip to give some heat!
3.Peel off the strip
4. Stick on hairy leg. :P
5.Take off the wax. The faster the better!
6.Cut open the Perfect Finish Wipes
7. Unfold the Perfect Finish Wipes
8. Rub on the waxed areas to as the wipes are some kind of essence that helps
relieve the pain and make skin really smooth and shiny! :D

This is before, not that visible but the hair are actually quite long and sharp -.-

Okay, this is me waxing non stop cuz it kinda became a little addictive :P
See the HAIR! Ughhh!!
Another reason why the hair doesnt grow so fast is because waxing helps us removes the hair from the roots,
rather than just giving it a shave which makes it even thicker!!

Ta Dah! Clean smooth hairless leg! *happygirl

So yeah, ever since I was introduced by Veet, my confidence level definitely boost up. Used to wear long pants back in the day and misuse Mum's eyebrow shaver since I was really embarrassed at my leg hairs. D:

Now, shy no more! Thanks to Veet, I now have hairless and smooth shiny legs to show off! :P

Here is a OOTD I decided to revamp, to represent my confidence level. :P

This is the dress I'm going to revamp. I duno what brought me to buy this dress.
Never worn but I still like the little details of the dress. :\

I looked like a slutty 4 months pregnant Mom to be. -.-
Confidence level: 20%
Die also wont wear this out -.-

Tadaaaaa, I made a few adjustments and revamp it into a skirt! :D

Confidence level : 100%

I fold the upper part of the dress and pin up the last layer of the dress to make it slightly shorter.
Added a belt to make it look better too. :D
Quite happy with the end results, looks more like a casual skirt to be worn to school. *happygirl

My before and after! :D :D
